Buenos Días from Houston. It’s XXX and Sunny on this 12 of April, also known as:

  • The start of Passover (Chag Pesach Sameach to all of my Jewish friends)

  • National Only Child Day (If that’s you, sorry that you have no one at home to celebrate with)

  • National Record Store Day (I’ll be checking out Cactus Music in Houston to celebrate)

  • National Grilled Cheese Sandwich Day (Well, I guess I know what I’m having for lunch)

  • National Licorice Day (I also know what I won’t be having for dessert)

  • National Colorado Day (Huh???)

Welcome to the first weekend volume of The Daily Boofy. These will be slightly shorter, but don’t worry—you’ll still get all of your politics and sports news. My main goal ultimately is to keep y’all informed. In addition to those, I’m unlocking the Jason Of All Trades and pulling one of my favorite blogs back out, but we’re pressing pause on the thoughts and reading recs. It is the weekend, after all, and all that thinking feels like homework. Don’t worry, the ol’ brain will turn back on Monday. Now, let’s have a day!

LETTER FROM THE EDITOR

Haha, still got this out in the morning with 35 mins to spare! Hope you enjoyed my Ode To The Hypotenuse, whether it was your first time reading it or your hundreth (probably only me). I’m still playing around with what Saturdays and Sundays will look like, but expect to see some more stuff from the Vault going forward (maybe with some modifications👀)
