April 17th, 2025 // Vol. IX // A Quick One Today

Buenos Días. From sunny Houston, Happy Thursday, but also happy:

  • National Crawfish Day (I made lunch plans at a Cajun restaurant before I even knew this! How serendipitous.)

  • National High Five Day (Up high! Down low! Too slow…)

  • National Cheeseball Day (I’ll come out and say it: I love cheeseballs. Might be Top 1 snack)

  • National Haiku Day (I am no poet // Barely can count to seven // Still worth a shot though)

I’m on a bit of a time crunch today, so there’s no extra content outside of the usual standards. I hope you can forgive me. Even if you don’t, let’s still have a day:

Christmas, 2015 - Every year I’m in charge of the ribbons. As you can see, they add up.

Yesterday’s Results:

Are there more windows, wheels or doors in the world?

i think wheels is the right answer, followed by windows, then doors

LETTER FROM THE EDITOR

Was running real low on time, so sorry for only one (and a half) takes. I’ll figure out efficiency eventually. Thanks for the grace. If you didn’t have a chance to read yesterday’s, I really think you should. The essay I put in there will give you some clarity as to who I am and what I’m trying to do here.

As always, email me with any column requests or content ideas. Now, it’s a great day to have a day. Drink plenty of water. Go outside. And remember: the greatest gift of life is simply being alive. Make the most of it.

Hasta mañana.
