Good (early) afternoon. Usually I write this part first, but today I’m doing it last. Wonder if that’ll make it better or worse. Either way, Happy:

• Gorgeous Grandma Day (Call your grandma today if you can and tell her she’s got drip)

• National Lemon Day (When life gives you lemons, make National Lemon Day)

• National Vanilla Ice Cream Day (Wow, what a week for ice cream. Vanilla just gets the job done. Fantastic sixth man.)

I’m running out of time to get this out, so let’s jump right to it and have a day:

What brand would you want to sponsor you?

Some of y’all are angling for free food, picking classics like Chick-Fil-A, Chipotle, and just straight-up Parmesan cheese, while others are looking for some free play, gambling for a casino sponsorship. One thinks they’re badass enough to warrant a Red Bull sponsorship. Boeing was a good answer, but I’m not sure I trust their handiwork. Amazon also got a shout, which seems like a good catch-all.

Personally, I’m falling along the lines of the person who responded Gucci by vying for a Ray-Ban sponsorship. Always have loved me some shades. There are definitely some other great choices that we didn’t collectively brainstorm, so I might give this some more thought and get back to y’all
