I really gotta start getting up earlier. Anyways, it’s hot, hot, hot in Houston on this:

• National Quiche Lorraine Day (My aunt and I made a banger Quiche Lorraine the other day, and I have been enlightened to the deliciousness)

• National Sugarbee Apple Day (I tried a Sugarbee for the first time the other day on the recommendation of my friend Noah, and wow. One of the best apples I’ve ever had. And I’m something of an apple connoisseur, so that’s high praise.)

• National Rescue Dog Day (Rescuing a dog >>> buying one. Payton is a rescue, so I might be biased, but there are so many dogs out there just waiting for a loving home, so help ‘em out)

• National Be A Millionaire Day (still waiting to celebrate this one…)
