Howdy from warmer but extremely cloudy Evanston. For roughly the 30th time, Happy:

  • National Creativity Day (would say I’m off to a decent celebratory start)

  • National Mint Julep Day (That’s just the Kentucky Derby, dude)

  • National Water A Flower Day (Will do… can’t promise it’ll be water though)

  • National Hole In My Bucket Day (this is literally a day honoring the kid’s song “There’s A Hole In My Bucket.” Dear Liza, man.)

No wifi makes Boofy a dull boy, and that’s what happened yesterday. Definitely not a ploy to get Vol. XXX on the 30th. Whatever. Before we get on with having a day, I have a little PSA, mostly for my Evanston-based friends: This Sunday is the second annual Out Of The Darkness Campus Walk for Suicide Prevention. It’s at 11 AM (check-in starts at 10) at Centennial Park (near Clark Street Beach). It’s a fantastic cause, so if you’re around show up. You can register here. Ok, now let’s get to it:

Come out to the Suicide Prevention walk on Sunday! It shouldn’t be rainy like last year! And it’s pretty cool to get to 30 of these, so thanks for sticking around!
